Tokyo, Japan

Life in Japan over the last 14 months has been one of the most intense and amazing experiences of my life so far. Almost everyday is filled with the most bizarre encounters and fascinating scenery - although I must admit that it all seems quite normal to me now that I’ve been here for so long… Of course, it has been extremely frustrating at times and my work schedule has been ridiculously demanding (to say the least!), but I have still managed to enjoy some of the many incredible things here as much as possible. Just getting to work each day on the subway can be a real adventure in and of itself! Here in Tokyo just walking the streets of Shibuya or going to Yoyogi Park, and seeing the famous Harajuku girls has made going to work much more interesting - for sure.
By the way, welcome to my new website! Hopefully this will be the place to come for all sorts of information, exaggerations, and basic nonsense regarding some of my musical endeavors and world travels. Please drop me an email sometime and let me know how you’re doing (especially all of my displaced musician friends from New Orleans!). I’ll finally be stateside in December for a few weeks before transitioning to Europe for our next tour - so stay tuned and take care…
